In Week 2, HNTL students thought about solutions to reduce plastic which include:

- using fabric bags for shopping, carrying such bags with us all the time

- using non-plastic straws, carrying a non-plastic straw with us when going out for a drink

- making paper bags to carry things if you don't have a fabric bags with you

- inventing a machine that can consume plastic in the ocean

- and so on
